The treasures of autumn |
My last post on Green Living Ideas will sure put a smile on your face or trigger controversial comments but anyway, I invite you to plant-bomb your town!
And while you're still on the same site, take a moment to read Julia's post on how Bolivia went car free for a day. If they can, why can't we?
As you know, I am a proponent of simple living. That is what made me love all the advice here, starting with: "Pay off your credit cards. Save one for emergencies, and cancel the others."
Have you fed your brain today? Healthy eating is not just about body, it is just as important for the development of your brain.
The pros and cons of buying organic. A debate between a farmer and a chef.
Enjoy the weekend!
Thanks for sharing all the links. I think we could all benefit by going car free for a day, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Thanks for all these great links! I've been living car-free for years, but I also live in a pedestrian-friendly city with lots of public transportation. Many people who live in less dense areas aren't so lucky and have to drive. But there are still things they could do like carpooling, biking, or telecommuting. It's all about the choices we make everyday. Happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the four agreements! Like in Bolivia, cities in Romania have a day a year without cars too, but it's rather symbolic, they stop car traffic only downtown.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty apple picture!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't all cities and towns improve with more plants and greenery?!
I'll have to check out these articles, they sound really interesting! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletei enjoyed the varied links ..and the glorious image caught the bird and .. apples?
ReplyDeleteThank you all!
ReplyDeleteELK, yes - a European Magpie and apples!
Plant-bombing? What a fabulous idea! I want to try, LOL! Maybe next year, when autumn and winter aren't looming so near... those plant bombs are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteAnd a car-free day sounds like an interesting idea. Good for Bolivia for trying it out! And don't those Bolivians in the photo look so happy? LOL :)
