Weekend DIY: Mug Projects

When it's cold outside everything evolves around a hot mug of something - tea, coffee, hot chocolate... The feeling of holding a mug exuding warmth in a freezing white winter day is incomparable to any other treat! 

This is my ode to mugs - in the form of favorite DIYs. Enjoy!

1. If you love adding your touch to the objects around you, this project is for you. Grab your favorite mug, a porcelain pen, make a stencil and go create! Perfect gift idea!

2. There is another way to make your cup of hot chocolate unique - by adding a cookie of your choice right in!

It could be a house



Or a falling star!


3. And, in the end, why not use your leftover Christmas candy canes to beautify your coffee? You can easily turn them into colorful sugar "cubes" in different shapes with the help of this tutorial.

    Think the gingerbread cookies are simply great. Will look out for the DIY on that as it would go down a treat hereabouts!

    All the other suggestions look good too - just wish I had time to have a go myself.
