Ok, I know that tomorrow is Easter but I had to show you these awesome terrarium DIYs that have nothing to do with either eggs or Easter. I thought that after posting weeks of Easter DIYs I should leave you at peace at least today, right?
But just in case you have not yet prepared the Easter dinner decoration, you might get some inspiration :)
You can reuse some clear glass Christmas ornaments and turn them into place holders for the festive table. You will need a handful of moss, a paper flower and a wine cork. Of course, you can add anything else if you feel inspired! Head on to Green Wedding Shoes for the whole tutorial.

Or you can get beautiful glass terrarium balls and hang them next to the wall. I am fascinated by this project because it employs beautiful colorful pebbles and succulents, which are not hard to take care of at all. More about the idea on The Harpster Home.

Last but not least, why not reuse those jars you have in the pantry and turn them into terrariums. Any shapes and sizes are welcome! Here is one idea with baby jars.

Are you crafting today?
Oh, I LOVE terrariums! When the girls were younger we made a couple elaborate one for school and I'm thinking I'd love to make another! They're like a little piece of nature, right inside to admire each and every day. Hope that you have a lovely Easter Sonya. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too, Melinda! Terrariums are lovely, aren't they!
DeleteThese are all such lovely ideas! Lately, my 11 year old has been asking me to buy him a snake. Maybe I can start him with a terrarium first!

Happy Easter to you too, Megan!
DeleteI want to make these! I love looking at the "air" plants when I go to the market. Lets see, this weekend we are gardening and puppy proofing the backyard (little digger). Yay, an excuse to garden!!
ReplyDeleteLove them. Great way to use baby food jars too.
ReplyDeleteI love terrariums! The air plants with the pebbles is a lovely idea.
