Manila Extract Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for participating!

Congratulations, to our winner - Birgit! You will soon have a piece of Hawaii with you!

I adore the creative people I meet on Etsy. Each and every new idea fills me up with excitement and inspiration. So, when Tanya of Manila Extract contacted me to advertise on Kanelstrand Organic Living I was beyond myself - I fell in love with her magnificent eco-friendly bags and purses produced with gorgeous aloha fabrics and repurposed and recycled burlap coffee bags - providing unique aloha treasures to be worn or used by Hawaii lovers around the world.

What instantly impressed me in Manila Extract was not just the amazing bags but also the fact that Tanya is committed to charities and a portion of the proceeds from the products she makes and sells is donated to Compassion International, a "Christian child advocacy ministry". She supports Compassion International because they focus not only on the child's physical, social and economic needs but on their spiritual needs as well.

So, starting today and for a week only, Tanya has an awesome prize for one of you! A cute eco-friendly, repurposed, burlap Kona coffee clutch, handmade in Hawaii.

Tanya handcrafted this fashionable and eco friendly clutch from a repurposed coffee sack from The Kona Coffee Council. In her own words:
As a member of The Kona Coffee Council, it's my pleasure to promote this organization and their beautiful coffee bag. Showcased on the front is a beautiful coffee cherry graphic in hues of vibrant cherry red and emerald green. It's perfect for date nights and a great little bag that any girl could use! Fully interfaced with an aloha liner of your choice and includes a zipper pull of waxed cotton embellished with your choice of a Hawaiian kukui nut, peka'a bead or opihi shell.

To enter this giveaway just follow the Rafflecopter widget step by step and you're done!

In bold are the mandatory entries you have to complete in order to enter this giveaway. To increase your chances of winning, go ahead and complete all of them! Just make sure you leave your email/etsy/twitter/facebook account every time you are asked to!

  1. My favorite item is the Asian Good Luck Phoenix,Burlap Rice Bag Clutch Purse. I love the inside and outside pattern, very unique.I love the rustic homemade feel and the bead is really pretty. Its great that a good luck symbol is on a clutch! I don't own any clutches in my purse collection. These sacks are truly unique way to go. Its an eye catcher for sure.

  7. Thank you so much for offering such a lovely and generous gift! How wonderful it must be to live in such a beautiful place. I have always wanted to visit Hawaii... hopefully someday I will. My favorite is the 'Burlap Hobo Handbag with Volcano and Bamboo'. I chose this particular bag because I feel the volcano image signifies Hawaii perfectly, and also because the size would be just the thing for carrying essentials during my dream vacation. *sigh*

Big but light, I think it would be a great project bag! I know it's a coffee plant, but it sort of reminds me of Christmas! :)
