How to Treat Acne in 4 Days With the Help of Banana Peels

Do you remember my rave about using banana skin to heal acne? My teenage daughter recently came to the same feelings as well. Now we are like banana hunters at home and don't let anyone throw away peels without us approving.

What makes his my favorite method for fighting acne? The fact that the natural ingredients in the banana peels not only heal the acne in no time but also clear the blemish and leave absolutely no sign whatsoever.

To make my point clear, I did some field testing, so you can see for yourselves in case you are still having doubts about that natural method of healing acne and treating blemished skin.
In other words, here is how you can get rid of any visible signs of your pimples in just 4 days!

See? On the fourth day there are only slightly visible signs of what used to be. You can go on until they disappear entirely, as I like to do or let the sun do the rest of the job.

Did you enjoy the banana peel method?

    2. I haven't tried fresh PawPaw, very interesting! There's an ointment made from it called "Lucas' Paw Paw Ointment." Not sure where you live but it's made in Queensland, Australia, and I could never find it to buy in person in America.
I've used banana for warts (almost a little TOO effective, scarred my finger where non-wart area was over exposed, like a burn) but never for acne. Will have a go!

  4. So glad I found this! I never knew about banana peels. I've tried the toothpaste method, but I don't think that's natural. :) Are you saving banana peels in the fridge, or eating 3 bananas a day?

What makes bananas priceless in the fight against acne is the potassium and the antioxidants housed within their peel. They have the ability to drastically reduce skin irritation, swelling and redness, as well as to diminish the visibility of scars.

  22. Hi Sonya,

Thanks sooo much for sharing this valuable information. I had a clear face until I moved in to a new city and the changed weather and water started playing havoc with my face, particularly my cheeks. I'm 26 and I've started to get acne and rough skin on my cheeks. I suspect this is happening due to dryness in the weather. Would a banana peel work for this skin condition too?

Also, I'm having pin holes on my cheeks. Would you have a remedy for this?

    Thanks again... :-)

    1. Hi Meenal,
Go ahead and try the banana peels, they will make your skin soft and nourished.

I am not sure about pin holes though. I think you could try exfoliating the skin around. You can try some of the exfoliating masks on Kanelstrand, f.ex. Homemade sugar face scrub and Homemade exfoliating and moisturizing mask

Good luck and please come back to let us know how the treatment affected you!

  28. Is there a way to preserve the portion of banana peel not used and use it for the next application or does it have to be a freshly peeled banana each time? And, do you need to eat the banana prior to application for it to be effective?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There is no immediate connection between eating a banana and rubbing its peel on your skin. Anyway, eating bananas has health benefits including normalizing blood pressure, etc. In this case I have suggested eating it just so it doesn't go to waste. You can cut a small piece, eat it and use the peel. In this way you will preserve the rest of the banana easier for next use.

  29. When I use this can I be sure that just applying the banana peel method is going to keep my face clean and moisturized?

    4. Ok so, you were definitely right. My face is now so much calmer (I used to have new ones on my face every single day but now its been a whole week since a breakout) plus I can't even remember the last time I used a store bought product for my face.

Who knew assaulting my face with banana peels could be this fun and rewarding?!
Advice to ANYONE who wants to try this: give it a shot, it may sound really weird and you may be really skeptical but if you stick with it for more than a day, you would notice that whatever you were attacking on your face would have stopped hurting maybe even started disappearing as well. It really is worth it, as a ninja, you have my word.

  42. I found this treatment great, I find over the counter gels and creams make my skin really dry and the flare ups even worse.
I have or should i say had! big red under skin painful nodules, after the first night things were pretty much the same, but after a few days/nights I started noticing a dramatic change in the size and redness of the nodules, the pain has subsided allot too, after 7 days of washing my face with warm water only, apply a hot flannel to the chin area and rubbing banana peel on the area, I can see a great difference.
I can honestly say, my chin is clearing, one side has no nodules or new spots just pale pink marks were they used to be, the left side still has one medium spot, but even that has come up and gone down allot faster then usual, I am hoping that the continued use will clear it all up, another 7 days and time will tell, but people please try this! it works

Why do the doctors tell you things like this, I know ans that is because they will not make any money from it! all these years, Vit E creams, Freederm, Pills on subscription and nothing, well the pills cleared it but as soon as you stop they come back worse, and to think this wonderful simple (CHEAP) treatment is doing the trick?

    Crazy!

    1. Bananas contain substances that are associated with the latex-fruit allergy syndrome. If you have a latex allergy, you may very likely be allergic to bananas as well and that might be causing the breakouts.

Stop immediately if you have an increase in acne. It would be best to seek advice from a dermatologist, just to make sure whether you have this allergy or not.

      And please, keep us updated!

  50. I thought I'd share my process in case anyone else is suffering through a similar situation. I had so-so skin while I was on the pill, had bad skin once I got off it, and then HORRIBLE skin once I got pregnant. I am now about 10 weeks (!!!) and I can't even look in the mirror without crying. Clogged pores galore, huge nodules on forehead, bridge of nose, and chin ... you name it, it's on my face. I'm now on my 2nd day of banana-ing and I can't see a noticeable diff. yet, but I will keep at it.
