Fashion: Oiseau Vintage

This post is written by contributing author Paige Ronchetti.

If I'm being honest, I'm not a huge fan of how most modern clothing is constructed. It seems like no matter where I shop, every item has an expiration date. I've had things shrink, and fade, and every once in a while, totally fall apart (with one particularly crappy item it was after the first wash--not happy!).

Vintage clothing, on the other hand, usually stands the test of time. Everybody says "they don't make things like they used to" for a reason. So if you're also fed up with wearing mediocre quality, I invite you to give vintage clothing some thought instead! Oiseau Vintage on Etsy is a great place to start.

You can be fancy...
little black dress, $49
black heels, $32

Or colorful...
yellow mini skirt, $29
red heels, $36

Or practical, all in one place.
leather purse, $59

See more reasonably priced clothing and accessories in their Etsy shop. They also have a clearance section to check out if you're looking to score an even better deal.

Are you a vintage-wearer? What's your favorite piece of vintage clothing? (I have a yellow dress that holds a special place in my heart.) Anybody already a fan of Oiseau?
